This one of a kind barrel purse combines exceptional leather craftsmanship with the artistry of hand bead embroidery. Created on a barely used, upcycled handmade leather purse by Mowen Leather Designs, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a wearable work of art that celebrates creativity, sustainability, and timeless design.

The centerpiece is a hand beaded lotus flower, carefully stitched one bead at a time using soft pink and white seed beads for layered petals. The subtle variations in color add softness and realism, allowing the flower to stand out beautifully against the dark sea foam green leather background.

At the center of the blossom, a brilliant clear navette-shaped crystal sparkles. Yellow decorative wire radiates from the crystal, representing the flower's stamens  Each petal is outlined with French purl wire—a fine coiled metal wire traditionally reserved for haute couture embroidery. 

The lotus has long been admired as a symbol of beauty, renewal, resilience, and new beginnings.
